The Shields of Dorn chapter is the 32nd chapter in the order of battle for the seventh legion.
Their initial formation as a fighting force was established in the Himalayas battling witch covens on the Yndonesic Bloc. Bereft of mobile support and unable to call for aerial cover due to weather the Shields of Dorn were left to face the brunt of the attack stoically. It was after days of constant battle that the Shields of Dorn resisted continued attacks and finally pushed the Yndonesic Bloc Forces back down into valleys where allied artillery was able to destroy them in concentrated barrages while they were trapped within the frozen valleys.
Since then the Shields of Dorn have always operated as a blocking force within any engagement. They specialise in stopping in its tracks enemy assaults, pinning the enemy in place so an allied force can sweep in a destroy them with little opposition.
