A small force, of unknown motivation, that only became involved late in the Second Golloch Campaign.

To the extreme irritation of the Loyalist commanders, the 'Angels of Despair' refused to integrate themselves into the command structure, and pursued their own interests on Metallikus and other worlds. On at least one occasion they are known to have opened fire on a Loyalist force, and continued their attack even after the Auxilia had identified themselves.

The Legio Crucius Templari is a sub faction of Legio Crucius, the Warmongers Titan Legion. Formed after the founding of the minor Forge World, Cerberus, and the close bonds which formed between the Imperial Fists based in the area (the Kildrech Crusade), the local Knight House (House Kildare) and the Mechanicus forces; the sub Legio is an oath bound unit which always serves alongside the Imperial Fist forces based in the Kildrech System.
