The entire AUS30K website revolves around two main items; Armies and Reports; the armies represent represent the forces which the players use on a regular basis while the Reports represent the games played by those players and their impacts on the in game universe.

There are three levels of Reports, each one providing greater levels of depth in regards to fluff and story, with all of them linking to the armies involved and providing influence over the planets which they are played on.

Skirmish Reports

This is the base line report which all players can make. It contains little to no fluff and is primarily focused on the aspects of the game played; who defeated who on behalf of which faction. It is normally the winners responsiblity to lodge the Skirmish report, to prevent double ups, however if only one player is using the AUS30K system then the opponent can still lodge the report and use a placeholder name for their opponent.

When submitting Skirmish reports under the Global Heresy the player only needs to enter the following pieces of information:
Date: The date on which the game took place (this will be converting to the 30K date format automatically)
Victors Faction: The faction for which the Victor was fighting for, i.e Loyalist, Traitor, Ork etc
Victor: The Army ID of the winner Defeated: The Army ID of the loser

If the report is being submitted against a Local System then some additional pieces of information need to be added:
Sub-Sector/System/Planet: The details of the planet, its System and the Sub-Sector of where the fight took place, these can be left blank but will not contribute towards Influence over a planet.

In both cases there is also a Draw indicator, defaultly set to No (n), in the rare circumstances that the game was a draw this can be changed to Yes (y) to indicate a drawn game.
